Is there any compression software which makes maximum use of multiple cores on a system and also gives good compression ratio??
tried Winrar but it has low compression ratio.....

I bought a DVI-D cable for samsung 2033 sw but Now I don't get any signal on the monitor totally........
Used my old dvi-vga convertor and the signal was back.......

My Sapphire HD 4850 is running at 52C at idle and almost 80C when at load.
I think it's too hot..........
What cooling solution is available for HD 4850 to reduce the temperature...???
I heard that latest processors like intel core 2 duo and quad core from intel and athlon/phenom processors from intel supports 64 bit OS.
But still most of the people use 32 bit OS to date.
Are there any problems with using 64 bit OS?

I found out that AMD phenom 2 x2 550 and x3 720 processors have actually 4 cores. They disable 1 or 2 cores for some reason and sell it as a dual/triple core processor. Is it always safe to unlock the locked cores on this kind of processor?
Is stability ensured after unlocking?
I knew that there are 2 types of overclocking:-
1.By directly increasing CPU multiplier(on intel EE/AMD black edition processors)
2.Increasing mobo FSB
Basically I wanted to know why Intel/AMD charge that extra buck for EE and black edition processors.
