No way, poco F5 which has a 7+ gen 2 processor is slower than a 8+ gen 1 chip in GPU intensive tasks, no way in hell is 7s gen 2 is faster.

For a clutter free phone, i will recommend one of the pixel phones, but if budget is an issue see some of the nothing phones. Personally I will recommend tablets for elderly people and not phones. But that will cost more.
