So I got the Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz kit even though its not mentioned on the mobo QVL list. Its working fine.

Given you current setup, I think a monitor upgrade will noticeably enhance your gaming experience.
2080 + 1080P, 60Hz may not give you any visual upgrade. You will run the game at utra settings, but the monitor may not be able to do justice. It will just better numbers (FPS)
But a 1060 + 1440P...
