Yes it does. I can even see some indication (this corresponds directly with the lit regions in the pics) for it even when the monitor is powered off.

I noticed this with my monitor (MSI G242) just today. I am pretty sure this wasn't there a few days ago. Any help with this is and what might be causing this? My monitor is still within the warranty. Would this be covered in warranty? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @nsas02 , what's your review after few weeks of usage? I am also looking to buy asus rog strix or zephyrus series and I am confused about getting 2021 models or wait for 2022 models.
