Thanks for all your replies, some points made sense.
I'm not considering the C7 on screen size but the Galaxy SL i9003 mentioned by madnav is now on my list.
My only usage is phone, big screen and to run one app which works on java or android.
It's possible that the price cuts are only for the higher plans and will not affect 90% of users. :ohyeah:
Just like the ISP that launched a 100 Mbps plan some time ago for some huge amount and proudly announced that they were providing the highest speed plan in India
I'm thinking about getting a new phone and narrowed the choice to Wave 2 and Defy. Mainly need a big display and the OS in not an issue.
Both phones are almost 18k and specs are very close.
Or are there any other 3.7 inch displays worth considering?
Re: BSNL Reformulation of Broardband plans & launch of a new Unlimited Broadband Plan
Most of their customers are on the Home 500/600 and UL 750 and both of those are untouched.:@
I'm still trying to figure out what the "Revision in the Night Unlimited 02:00 to 08:00 feature is, everything is...
The majority of customers are on the Home 500, and those plans have not been revised for 3-4 years. :@
The NU timing is the same (2-8) as when it started, but MTNL has NU from 10-8.
When will BSNL wake up?
I'm sure they are well aware of their income from each plan and what the competition is providing at what price. By not maintaining parity with the current market prices/speeds/data limits it's a clear statement of indecision or inability to stay competitive.
Looks like they are trying to show...
Terrific article. :hap2:
Most amazing is despite only 0.5% of the capacity being used these companies are imposing 1 - 2 GB limits and FUP
Sad indeed, that the consumer exists only to be looted. :bangin:
Thinking of getting a Blackberry soon, though not interested in the push email.
Just want to use it for some emails and casual browsing.
Since the BlackBerry data plans are 900+, what alternatives are available for this sort of usage?
