    Large Capacity HDD's (6TB-20TB)

yeah molex pins tend to bend sideways inside the connector overtime. All my molex connectors are years old and their pins are wobbly but work fine as of now. Would replace them all soon.

    Large Capacity HDD's (6TB-20TB)

I recently bought two from Amazon and they worked perfectly. I'd suggest you to look there. I bought these, in the pictures they seem to be those cheapo ones but I got the crimped type.

the ameliorated option comes under the three major options available, AtlasOS, ReviOS and Ameliorated Windows. I wanted the lightest and fastest OS to ooze out the performance of my machine and since I didn't really cared about it being the best at usability since it wasn't my daily driver...

Installing games on a network location.

Personally, I don't see it being a bad idea, since OP just plays single player games that too from the last decade. The theoretical speed of 2.5 GbE is almost the same as two hard drives in RAID 0, which is a respectable speed and many people use that for bulk storage of games (including Jake...

Its basically a debloated windows 10 with some extra steps. All my services run with no problem. I run Tailscale (with Headscale), Immich, Paperless-ngx, Ollama, Jellyfin and other stuffs and its basically rock-solid. It also connects via RDP and Moonlight + Sunshine. Haven't tested SMB yet, but...

you can also buy a sata adapter like the one with the Asm1166 chip, its a cheaper alternative and better than other cards as they interfere with C-states.

I recently installed AtlasOS on my spare pc which is my occasionally used gaming pc along with which it runs some containers. Before that it had windows 10 (stock) and the difference is literally night and day. Most of the stuff works and no hiccups yet found. The search is refined and file...

Budget 0-20k New to NAS, looking for a cabinet

I'd suggest you to make an external jbod by salvaging hdd enclosures from old pc cases (can be found in local stores) and connect it using an HBA card, make sure to go for the card with an 'e' suffix, which means the cables are connected externally. You can take some inspiration from this :

Replacing Swollen Battery with a Higher Capacity Battery

My power bank's outer shell was bulging since a few weeks. When I opened it today to check, both the batteries (5000mAh each) were swollen to atleast twice their original size. So, I disconnected the terminals from the charging board and disposed the batteries. Since everything else is...

CPU/Mobo Need to expand my server ram from 8gb ecc to 32 gb ecc

The exact model is not available as per my searches, I think any 2666 MHz ECC ram would do the job, but to be 100% sure you can ask the seller for compatibility by sending them your CPU and Motherboard Make and Model. As to the capacity, buy smaller size for e.g. 8/16 Gb sticks and max out the...

CPU/Mobo Need to expand my server ram from 8gb ecc to 32 gb ecc

From what I can see, your server needs DDR4 2666 MHz ram. There are some options online but they too are imported and not sure about their warranty or guarantee claims. I personally know some people who've bought similar kits from ebay sellers and are quite satisfied, try to buy a couple sticks...

Proxmox Thread - Home Lab / Virtualization

    1. Not necessarily, I have seen many using just one pc for all their tasks. But you have to keep in mind that it is either a full fledged pc or a SFF pc with at least 3 storage slots(1 for boot and VMs + 2 in Raid1 as storage). Since optiplex micros are very efficient, powerful and has a very...
