Started Sugar.
Picked it up because of Collin Farrell. First episode was good...solid acting by Farrell. Show seems to have a slow burning noir mystery story and I'm hoping it doesn't get boring.
Took a chance and gave this a watch:
Lootere (2024)
I mainly picked it up because it had Rajat Kapoor. Show in spite of having loopholes isn't half bad. Acting from the cast is decent and story kept things interesting. I would have liked the show to have come to an end like a mini-series but...
I found the final episode of Shogun rather underwhelming but I'm pretty sure it could be just me. I was expecting more... swords and flying cannons!
However, having said that...
I will watch the old Shogun show from 1980 once though for comparison. It has Richard Chamberlain as the Anjin.
Believe it or not I actually like the way that compact Dell SFF case looks with the attached Drives on top. Looks like a very cool ghetto NAS rig!
That being said a couple of good options for a NAS build I can suggest are a Corsair Obsidian 750D or a Corsair 780t (hoping that you don't mind a...
Got a fairly big Teak Driftwood piece for my a 25 Gallon aquarium I'll be setting up. Currently soaking it in hot water (changing twice a day) for the tannin to leach out. It weighs about 2-2.5kgs when wet:
Will set it for a normal water (not hot) soak tonight and add liquid Bleach to it...
What Jennifer Did - 8/10
I have a particular interest on crime documentaries so had to pick this one up.
This is a well made documentary about Jennifer Pan's case from 2010. I first came to know of this incident through watching an episode of Deadly Women in 2017 and then watched her...
Finished Fallout Season 1.
Enjoyed the show in spite of the fact that I haven't played any of the FO games. Walton Goggins as the Ghoul was fantastic. Really looking forward to Season 2 and how the story progresses.
Well I guess I'm the odd one out here who thought episode 9 of Shogun was too slow but the little guy in my head kept saying... just you wait, something has to happen!
And the last 10 minutes of the episode proved how right the little guy in my head was! What a deliciously violent finale...
For me it was a few things:
The Script - Should have been flushed down the toilet.
Tiger Shroff's Acting - Cheap Rambo lookalike with piss poor acting.
Cringe Jokes and one liners between Tiger and Akshay.
Manushi Chhillar - Robotic acting that had no emotions being portrayed at all.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024) - Can't rate this because my brain seems too fudged after watching it.
I mean what does one eat at night to sh!t out a script like this in the morning?
