Budget 0-20k Help me choose a 27" 1440p Monitor

Looking to replace my Benq EW2750 FHD with a 27" 1440p monitor. Budget is 15~25k.
I've seen that Acer xv272u v3 is one of the widely suggested model but it's availability seems to be up chance. The models I've looked at excluding the Acer are Samsung Odyssey G5 27" 2K at 18.3k(10days delivery time), Cooler Master monitor at 12.7k (came across the link on pricepicker and thought the site was trolling me at that price lol). Usage will be media content and games played would be League, WoW, Civilization and Total war
Given that my current benq is deteriorating fast, not sure if I can wait for the acer to become available.

When did Cooler master start making monitors but the pricing is really good for a 2k monitor.

One of my friend recently bought Gigabyte G27Q (IPS panel, 2k res) from MDComputers and he has given a positive feedback about the monitor and you can add this model in your list. Most of the people prefer samsung monitors over acer but I never used any of those ... I am a benq user too and recently shifted from MSI 27 inch optix 1080p to EX2780Q 2k I find the benq's built quality quite good.

Not a fan of VA panels and since you mentioned media consumption also, prolly should go for IPS. The CM one is VA.

Plus, the display doesn't look good, the stand is not adjustable, it's 100hz.

any suggestions? not sure if I would notice difference between VA and IPS. Given that I'm using a 27" FHD at 60Hz, anything recent will be an upgrade over that and will probably look better to me.

This is a good time to upgrade the monitor. Apart from the WQHD 100Hz options the Acer XV272U dropping to 17.4k or 15K with bank discounts is a surprise.
Under 20K budget:
For QHD@100Hz, the Acer SA272U E and Cooler Master GA271 are the options I came across.
For QHD@144Hz+, there's Acer's XV272U V3, VG271U M3, Gigabyte GS27Q.
Then there are curved display options from Samsung and Gigabyte among others.
As for playing isometric games any of the monitors would work (me being a RoN and AoE player using a Samsung VA monitor way back).
Each monitor does come with their own sets of downsides like:
1) Smearing and poor viewing angles for VA
2) Poor contrast and Backlight bleeding in IPS panels
3) IPS/VA glow

Getting to suggestions-
a) If you work in the dark with a black theme or use a terminal/console at work then I'd suggest IPS options like Acer SA272U E or Acer XV272U (XV272U being the better of the two at a higher cost and has a better stand and build quality)
b) If you want a monitor for work, watching movies, and spending your time sitting centered to the monitor then VA options are good. Also, VA is bad for pivot orientation.
c) Go for curved if you just want the monitor for Gaming and media consumption.

If I were you I'd be waiting for the XV272U as it stands out of the bunch. But it's your choice at the end of the day.
What's certain is that 100Hz has replaced 60/75Hz and going from 82 to 109 ppi will be very noticeable.

The Acer XV272U was my first option thought of waiting for it to be restocked but my monitor is degrading day by day, yesterday it was just banding and pixelation on left side, today the left side has started pulsing/flashing mildly. So not sure how much longer it will last.
I use my PC with room lights on, never a scenario where it would be in a dark theme or room. Always centered to the monitor while playing and lean back while watching streams, video content. Using office laptop for work, so this will be purely entertainment. Most of it either playing the aforementioned games or reading manga/web novels and youtube/twitch etc. Just chill content be it games or videos. No fast movement fps or similar things. The CM GA271 was the cheapest of the lot while still being an upgrade without breaking bank. I mean it's cheaper than what I bought my current benq FHD for in 2015/16.
Samsung has corporate offers from work and bank discount which gets the odyssey g5 to 18.3k. The Acer VG271U is not deliverable to my location on amazon unfortunately.

If you want to experience 1440p, don't need a high refresh rate monitor, and only you will consume media on it (as VA panels don't have good viewing angles), go for the CM one as it isn't a bad monitor for the price.

The CM GA271 was the cheapest of the lot while still being an upgrade without breaking bank. I mean it's cheaper than what I bought my current benq FHD for in 2015/16.

GA271 is quite good and that price is excellent. Saw a few non-English videos where it does perform decently in the UFO ghosting test but still struggles a little with white-on-black text scrolling (which could be noticeable with manga/webtoons). What's great is the contrast and less bleeding than what you get with IPS.
If you're not prone to FOMO then going with it shouldn't be an issue, but if you are then wait for a couple of days to see if xv272u is restocked.

I am using Gigabyte M27Q. It’s IPS, 2K, 170Hz and got KVM. No complaints so far. It is going for 25-26K right now. But I think comes down in sales.

I've championed 32 inch monitors here before and I'll do it again, in case you might be interested. If you have the space, I think they're the 16:9 sweet spot for desktop. At 1440p, the pixel density would be similar to 1080p on a 24 inch monitor.

Acer VG271U is in stock and is pretty much same monitor as XV272U with a worse stand. You can put in the money saved into a monitor arm which will be miles better than even the XV272U stand

I've reached out to nearby acer showroom and delta to see if they can arrange the XV272U/VG271U. Reddit had a lot of user exp threads on Cooler Master monitors. Since they are new to the game, looks like they are still getting their firmware in working order and fixing various bugs like resume from sleep etc.
The LG27GRQ-B seems to be similar to the Acer at a higher price point so I might go with that if Acer remains unavailable.
