Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Discussion Thread

Almost all the skins are awesome!
Anybody tried the prime matchmaking? looks interesting. I think we have enough member here to play one match together.

This has been the news since morning. Actually there is nothing surprising.
Anyways most of the gambling sites are shady as fck. Even sites like csgorumble are not legit. They thinks that they are smart. What CSgorumble does is they will announce a raffle & put in a criteria like the giveaway will happen when the no of participants reaches 5000. To enter the raffle you have to advertise their site by putting their company name besides your steam name. Now you have to advertise it till they get 5000 participants. That will take a long time even after 1-2 weeks when they have got enough members they will take 3-4 days to declare the winner. (Now we really don't know if the winner is legit or not). What 4999 people did was advertise their site like idiots for nothing.

The Holos are MUCH better than MLG Columbus 2016, as are the foils. Get them today if you want to craft some sick sticker gun combos.

This might be a good time to cash out on your expensive skins. Valve is banning all the gambling sites. Websites like opskins can go down as well. This may or may not drive the price of skins down.

I'm curious, did the folks here at TE actually get together and play a game?
I see multiple people suggesting it, but no responses to that end.

Everytime I try to get in to this game, I keep getting killed till I get frustrated and leave the game. People have gotten too good for noobs to play anymore

Try the reserved maps group.
I am a mediocre player and I can maintain a decent K/D ratio in the reserved maps than active duty maps.

Hi baccilus, that's what the matchmaking is for. To match you with opponents of your skill level. I suggest you sign up for prime and then play the game. You will soon be calibrated to a skill level that is appropriate and get time to improve. Also, try deathmatches more often to work upon and improve your aim and movement etc. There you can simply play without pressure of winning etc.
There are other game modes for fun as well. If you really want to improve, watching pro games with proper commentary would certainly help.
