I really like UpCdownC. Other great post rock include Mono, Red Sparowes and Magyar Posse.

Below are a couple of my favourite post rock songs;

Hang on to your bassy IEMs, 13th Nov Deftones' 7th album comes out!

Last release 'Diamond Eyes' was a phenomenal record. Excited for this!

Already have Mono, Red Sparrows, World's End Girlfriend and The Pirate Ship Quintet in my library.

Haven't listened to Magyar Posse. Will try that.

After hardly listening to any music in the past 6 months, was hunting for new music through the Top X lists of 2012. Of the stuff I have sampled so far, one was instantly likable.

Diablo Swing Orchestra - Pandora's Piñata:

Considering my lack of knowledge of metal music / genres, I collected a sample of a few that appeared in more than one list. Will give everything a listen or two.

Long time no metal. EDM, Video Game music, some guitaring.

Here's a band The Mars Volta which I started following some years back, saw one of Thomas Pridgen's sets on Modern Drummer Fest & became an instant hit with me.

The band boasts of Omar Lopez-Rodriguez too, so there.

The album De-loused in The Comatorium is good. Technical Wankery, lots of it, but on days sounds great.

[DOUBLEPOST=1367333438][/DOUBLEPOST]Some important albums incoming. DO take note.

The Dillinger Escape - Plan One of Us Is the Killer

Alice in Chains - The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here

Too soon IMO. Thirt3en just came out.
Meh. They have the habit of releasing a new album every 2 years. I like it. I look forward to listening to new Megadeth music.

Besides, Mustaine is getting old. The change in his voice is very noticeable. They better make the best of what they have while they still have it.

That's exactly what it will be, average album like Thirt3en. Broderick's and Mustaine's epic moments are on Endgame's first 2 tracks. Face melters.

And yeah I saw them live last year Mustaine did have to leave some sections out while singing.

Soilwork's new album The Living Infinite is gaining some traction.
