Now, a couple of latest teasers on Weibo have hinted at two more hardware details the smartphone will feature — an OLED display and MediaTek’s 10-core processor...

Today, a couple of pictures, allegedly shot with the upcoming phone's dual camera, were leaked on the Internet. The two photos show an outdoor and what seems to be an indoor shot of a dog and a cat respectively. While their resolution has obviously been reduced and we can't judge a lot about detail yet, what we do see is that the photos have a very shallow depth of field, as objects that are away from the camera's point of focus very quickly become blurred out in a nice, soft background.

The launch is scheduled for July 27 in Beijing.

Wonder if India gets the same processor.

whats the point of 10 when their ui is not optimised and neither are most apps to use its potential. Should have just put those 2+2 processor set. Hope india gets a snapdragon 652 or something better.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro sports a fingerprint sensor on the home button, and a 5.5-inch Oled display with a 100 percent NTSC colour gamut and 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone bears a brushed aluminium body, with CNC-chamfered edges.

The smartphone bears a hybrid dual SIM slot, with support for a microSD card in place of the second SIM card. Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Redmi Pro include 4G LTE, as well as VoLTE support.

Battery capacity 4050mAh

Nice. Any idea when we might see it in India. I was gonna go for the MI Max 128GB model, but if this one is coming to India soon, then it would be better for me to wait as 5.5" screen is much more manageable than the huge 6.4" on the Max.

And how exactly are we gonna shoot??? Is it both cams at same time or its a choice of shooting via either of them?? If so then hows the cam app designed?

5.2-inch display, down from the 5.5-inch panel of the standard Redmi Pro. However, it is said that the display will still be OLED and will still run at 1920 by 1080 pixels, matching the Redmi Pro display specs.

Under the hood, the Remi Pro Mini is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset.

In the memory department, the Mini version of the Redmi Pro is said to come with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM plus 32GB of storage, or 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

will ditch the dual-camera setup

4,000mAh battery with 9V/2A fast charging, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, as well as a '2.5D' display glass cover.

CNY 1,499 (about $225) for the 3GB/32GB model. The full-blown version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is expected to cost CNY 1,899 (about $285).

5.2-inch display is mini these days ?!
