PC Peripherals Which SATA II cable and which motherboard?

I have two sata II cables, one which came along the motherboard (Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L), and another with Samsung SH-S223F DVD-RW.

now lable on the cables are as below:

(Motherboard) 2725 E209329 RU AWM 80C 30V VW-1 Serial ATA 26AWG LIAN FENG

(DVD-RW) Serial ATA 26AWG E74020-C RU AWM STYLE 2725 80C 30V VW-1 Amphenol

obviously Amphenol is a well known brand in terms of all knids of cables for all kinds of industries.

Second Query

Which is better amongs the two when paired with E7200:

Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L

Gigabyte EG31M-S2
Need really very very quick help.

(Today is holiday for me and I'm waiting for the reply to assemble the system)

BTW which is better bramd? Amphenol or LIAN FENG?

And what about motherboard?
 
Never bothered with SATA cables....used which ever came first to my hand :bleh:....

and never have had any problems so far....
