Hello guys looking to buy a 24 inch 1080p monitor for my secondary setup (gaming/work). It has a gtx 970 so 144hz ones won't be worth which are above 25k. So looking for a decent one around 20k. Secondly 27 inch would be a bit unpleasant to game on while sitting nearer to it on a table.
So i thinking 24 inch would be ideal. Any suggestions.. Presently have come up with the below models :-
1) Dell U2414h - 20.5k
2) LG 24MP88hm - 15k
And if 27 inch is ok then maybe
3) AOC 2769vm - 16k

Please suggest.. Thanks in advance..

Sorry to hijack the thread..but I am alos looking for monitor with similar requirements. How is dell-se2416h? It is matte finish IPS monitor.

Go with the following:

LG 24MP88HM 24 Inch IPS Monitor -14855.

you can get Dell U2414h for 15.5k via dell directly and for 18.2k Dell u2415. I hear Dell U2414h does not work properly with nvidia graphics card because of sRGB 96% color.

What games are you playing that won't do 144+ fps on a 970? If it's a competitive multiplayer like CS:GO, which is what you'd usually want 144hz for, that card should be able to handle it quite easily. I have the same card and I'm getting a 144hz monitor soon for Overwatch which is more demanding.

Any good 144hz monitor suggestions..? I play all sorts of game from CSGO to fifa, doom, rocket league etc except RTS.. I don't think gtx970 can get me above 100fps in max settings. So is 144hz worth it if my fps never goes over 100?
As for dell i have heard in many posts & forums their aftersales is not that great.. Else would have taken u2415/u2414 blindly..

After so many months of this & that.. Pros & cons finally was able to spend my cash on this.. Hope it wont disappoint me.. Hope overwatch will be fun to game on this.. Have never seen one 144hz in real life.. Hope the buzz is true "you will forget and never switch back to 60hz after using 144hz"

Lol.. Well have bought few items from them lately.. No complains till now.. I am sure this will go well too.

Well, if I wasn't saving on the gpu, I would have really brought the monitor straight away :(
This is actually a Steal ,16800 for a 144hz display in India, this monitor has very positive reviews

Less then 10MS controller to display respond rate
Serious design
USB ports (don't know why),headphone Jack
24"display

for those who don't know,144hz is a must ,you can largely notice the difference of even 15hz,

It's always better then a curved QHD at the price

I know that very well buddy, but I need a really good gpu to actually support that refresh rate. for now I am stuck with a Gts 450
