Well this is not a showoff but kind of "show and tell" you guys :) I just recieved a dozen cards and I thought I would use this opportunity to show you guys some bleeding edge tech. This is all datacenter stuff. thought you guys would appreciate :)

20170221_151728_HDR.jpg boat load of Intel E5 V4 processors, I took them out because they were 10 core ones and we ordered 22 core ones. so these may end up in my desktop :p (no not really, we will send them back) and also a lot of RAM.

Bought some basic stuffs for some DIY project I am planning.
I have no idea about these things. Gotta start somewhere.

Btw, Have you purchased a multimeter?
You would certainly need it.
 
Next time when you want to buy assorted stuff like that, try aliexpress. they sell really cheap electronics components.

Stuffs I looked, I find Amazon costs some 30~50% more than Aliexpress. But reaches within a week. Ordering some from Aliexpress too.

New components:
GPU: Asus ROG Strix RX 480 (8GB) Aura.
PSU: Seasonic X-750 GOLD.
Chassis: Corsair Graphite Series 780T Full Tower (White).


The processor (i5-2500k), motherboard (Gigabyte P67A-UD3R-B3) and memory sticks (2 X 4GB G.Skill Sniper) will be upgraded in July.
