Well this is not a showoff but kind of "show and tell" you guys I just recieved a dozen cards and I thought I would use this opportunity to show you guys some bleeding edge tech. This is all datacenter stuff. thought you guys would appreciate
Left most is Intel 40G Ethernet adapter. top is QLogic 10G ethernet/16G Fibre Channel adapter right one in the box is the QLogic 25G Everest E4 iSCSI/Ethernet adapter.
Mellanox QDR Infiniband adapter next to E4
boat load of Intel E5 V4 processors, I took them out because they were 10 core ones and we ordered 22 core ones. so these may end up in my desktop (no not really, we will send them back) and also a lot of RAM.
Some 10G copper and Optical cables.

I have no idea about these things. Gotta start somewhere.
If what I am planning comes to life, that might be worthy of 'show off'

Since I don't have idea what capacitor/resistor etc to get - bought an assorted pack from Amazon.

Next time when you want to buy assorted stuff like that, try aliexpress. they sell really cheap electronics components.

Stuffs I looked, I find Amazon costs some 30~50% more than Aliexpress. But reaches within a week. Ordering some from Aliexpress too.

New components:
GPU: Asus ROG Strix RX 480 (8GB) Aura.
PSU: Seasonic X-750 GOLD.
Chassis: Corsair Graphite Series 780T Full Tower (White).

The processor (i5-2500k), motherboard (Gigabyte P67A-UD3R-B3) and memory sticks (2 X 4GB G.Skill Sniper) will be upgraded in July.

All purchased from the US when I visited last month.
