OC & Modding Suggest a CPU cooler for Q6600 under 2.5k

need a air cpu cooler for q6600 as its heating a lot.
suggest a cpu cooler, cooling is my preference then noise...

budget :2.5k for cooler,thermal paste,fan...
my cabinet is cm 690.....:ashamed:

For the cooler you may go for Cooler master Hyper 212 +

Forgot to mention, wait for other members to answer too. I am not an expert in this. Just have been looking for a CPU cooler myself.

The pins of my E8400's cooler were broken after repeated installations and bought a Coolermaster HSF locally and the same thing happened to it. Finally decided to buy a cooler with back plate and ordered a Cooler master Hyper 212 + from theitwares which has been shipped yesterday. Hope it will solve my heating problems.
