Got a flyer from Reliance Ghatkopar outlet, they are offering 50% off on unlimited calling CDMA plans for a year. Taxes extra.

After discount,

Local only plan - 300 pm
Local+Std - 499 pm
All India roaming + data+ local + STD - 699 pm <-- pure VFM according to me. Looking to port in.

AFAIK, this is at all outlets.

This is for Cdma or gsm?
Currently i am on Cdma 199/- plan, 250 min local, 250 min std, 100sms, 500mb data.
Was on 350/- pm 1000 mins local and std calls with 2gb data, since i am not a high user i opted for the lower plan.

I am on 450/ plan . After port my number got activated today only

But to me RIM webworld guys told that no data is available in 450/ plan . Talking to CC rep is useless as plan hows 899/ rental only in their systems .
 
call to 1800100333. they might help.. this is for cdma.. for gsm, they have launched freepaid plans.. will share its details when at home..
 
the main reason for port out is lack of good handets in the market, Many users (90% or more) have to rely on stupid webworld and buy outdated handset at inflated prices, or rely on shop.rcom.in for new hand sets at super hyper inflated sets
 
Half of my family is on the 650+ taxes plan now. The unlimited data is something no other can match. And the network is very solid (atleast where we need it).
 
how is the net speed guys on these reliance cdma plans? I bought reliance cdma sim just for their cheap data plans in pune but it cant even open single webpage. Network automatically switches from full range EVDO to 1x. How is the condition in mumbai? Would like to see speedtest.net results too if members can share.
