Hi , after i built my x99 workstation last year with Techenclave help, my friend wants to build a X99 system too.... suggestions please
it will used mostly for adobe CC suite ( lightroom and premiere pro ). Dont need monitor in this budget as he will be getting a 4k monitor separately.

I dont know about X99 chipsets. So suggested the above config.

hows gigabyte service centers ?

and case - need suggestion .. with more then 4 HDD capacity

Have the X99P, replacement for an Asus X99-Pro. USB used to be a bit iffy in the beginning but seems ok now. Check the specs. Might not be enough USB slots for your usage. I would buy a board with inbuilt wifi though. Also, my giant Noctua CPU cooler and the boards layoutdoesn't let me mount a graphics card in the 1st slot.

I bought the board as I had no choice at that time. If it were upto me would have bought the ASrock Taichi
