Graphic Cards Need Help for Sapphire RX 460

Hello,

I have ordered Sapphire RX 460 and Corsair vs450 power supply.I want to know that does this card draws power from motherboard or i have to connect it to power supply?And if yes which socket of power supply it needs?

Sapphire RX460 2GB Nitro does not need any power but 4GB Nitro requires 1 six pin pcie power connector from the PSU.

thanks for reply.Was hoping a reply from you mostly.I have ordered 4gb version to pair with newly bought i3 6098p.Can you tell me does this supply which i have bought Corsair VS450 has this 6 pin pcie connector?If not please give me link to show how it looks?And it will be plugged directly into slot on gpu?

The vs450 already has a 6-pin connector.. So no need to buy any separate converter..
when you get the psu, just check it.. it will be written "PCI-e" on the connector itself..
In the link you have posted, the black colored end is the 6-pin connector...

Yes, once after you insert the GPU in the motherboard, connect the 6-pin PCIe power cable to the 6-pin port on the GPU..

thanks a lot bro,i was very very worried by thinking that this 6pin slot will be on motherboard.Actually i have opened box of motherboard.But thanks as you confirmed this port is on gfx.
i will update when i get the graphic card.
