need help buying a new wifi reciever for the pc

as the electronics sale is kicking off on flipkart as i write this, my friend discovered huge discounts on them. never bought any before. i'll post the discounted ones below. would really appreciate your opinions.
i need the receiver to connect my android occasionally and use my android to use internet on pc.
also shouldn't get damaged by much heat and should have a good lifetime.

as i started reading some reviews, i came across a few mentioning that these receivers can be racist when it comes to operating systems. the os i'll use them are windows 7 x64 and linux distros like ubuntu and mint, maybe kali linux too..

edup and comfast recievers support linux distros like ubuntu and probably mint. See answers on this Amazon page on this comfast adapter. Veedee makes or sells both edup and comfast and mentions on their site that these adapters are linux compatible.
