should be able to play cs go without any hiccups at 1080p high with 100+ fps. Other than that no serious gaming mostly casual gaming of titles like fifa 15, gta v, bf4 and the upcoming ones. Nothing fancy , should be able to run it at some humble settings.

Other than gaming i need it to be fast for daily usages like photoshop, illustrator, matlab, multitabbed browsing/streaming.

The above mentioned config is coming at around 45-46 and ive around 5k left. So should i get i5 4440 or should i go with gtx 960?

thanks you, that seems like a rock solid config. only problem is that i'm not getting wd blue locally and online the prices are much higher than what you've quoted. any replacement?
also i'm getiing 15900 for gtx 960 without tax, local market.

isn't the caviar green a 5400rpm drive?
seagate barracuda can be considered as the alternative.
there are hitachi/hgst drives too but they seem to be a bit high on price too.
