Hi friends,
I am looking to buy a laptop among the following three :
1.Lenovo Ideapad Y700 80NV00J3IH 15.6-inch Laptop (Core i7-6700HQ/8GB/1TB/Windows 10/4GB Graphics), Black
2.MSI GL62 6QF 15.6" Laptop (Core i7 6th Gen/ DDR4 8GB/ 1TB(SATA)/DOS/ NVidia Geforce GTX 960M, 4GB GDDR5)
3.Asus ROG GL552VW-CN426T (Intel i7 6700 HQ / 8 GB DDR 4 /1TB HDD / GTX960M 4GB DDR5 / 15.6-inch
Full HD Gaming Laptop / WIN 10)

keeping aside the cost, please friends help me decide between the three. My needs are good screen, good keyboard(There will be lot of typing) and programming in Matlab, Linux (Upgradable RAM is a must).

Lenovo brand is a total fail, out of the other two, I would extensively read reviews of the device and after sale service and then take a call.

I got GS63VR (with a GTX1060) Laptop recently and it is superb,
its Light weight, Highly compact and can be carried around very easily.
Lot of power but also very good cooling it does not heat up even when used for 10-12 hours rigorously non-stop as it has got Cooler Trinity (3 fans and 5 heat pipes.) I am in Love with MSI Products. Because of their build quality.

I can see that even GL62 6QF has 2 fans and 4 Heat pipes with non of the options are having.
I would say that heating matters a lot when it comes to performance. More heating reduced Performance.
You can go for MSI.
