I am no audiophile and I do not know anything about the various terms related to the performance of a headphone / earphone. I am looking for a decent IEM with good neutral sound quality. Would prefer something that can be worn around the ear. The following are a few that I am considering. Don't get me wrong - these are just the ones with good reviews on Amazon. :p

Sony MDR-XB50AP
Sony MDR-XB70AP
Sennheiser CX 3.00
MEElectronics A151

Would be happy to know what serious audiophiles would suggest in this budget.

Since you mention a neutral sound signature, you should probably go through Joker's list on head-fi / headphonelist, (the guy has compared ~350 iems that he has reviewed over the years) & cross-reference it with what is available in the market within your budget.

Thanks all for the replies. Unexpectedly got a Sony IEM as a gift yesterday from my brother. So the IEM hunt ends for now. Thanks for all the inputs.

Awesome earphones! Guaranteed Bang for your buck.
Mids are forward and detailed and the bass extension is excellent..Treble is airy and involving..
Overall truly marvelous earphones!

Details and impressions please
Had received the Sony MDR-XB30EX. Tried them for a couple of hours over the weekend. The earphones were surprisingly good, with very good isolation and sound clarity. They were comfortable to wear. Bass was good and not too overpowering. Being a lay person when it comes to audio gear, I can't describe much more about them.

@rakesh.kumar Thanks for the suggestion.
