Uttar Pradesh government is bringing a law to withdraw “politically-motivated” cases, registered against ministers, legislators and others in the state, chief minister Yogi Adityanath told the assembly on Thursday.

The proposed law seeks to scrap about 20,000 such cases registered in various parts of the state, the chief minister said without elaborating further as to what would be the yardstick to define a case as political in nature.

So, if a politician rapes or murders, a case can't be registered because after all, everything is a "politically motivated" case. They are planning to erase all existing cases too. Rajasthan govt too has something similar.

Expect something of this sort to be implemented across India soon.
 
The funniest thing i heard was people expecting them to lose guj, and now 2019.

The fricking CEC was modi's chief secretary back in the guj days. you don't lose a match when the ref is part of your team...
