Excellent like-new condition. Although it is very old, there is not a scratch anywhere. The metallic back is just like-new.
I have used it very less over the years. It holds charge very well and has never shown any signs of trouble. The 3G is free for lifetime.
Needless to say, this is the largest e-ink screen. It makes the current Kindle & other e-readers look puny. Moreover, it is not available for purchase anymore.
I will be including the leather case with the Kindle DX.

To answer some queries I have got via PMs:
After using a couple of e-ink devices, I found this Kindle e-reader to be the best for reading PDF files on an e-ink screen.
Moreover, by using a software named "Briss" you can further clip unwanted margins in your PDF files in no time - which reduces the need to zoom-in in almost any PDF file.

For pdf one can also try k2pdfopt (www.willus.com/k2pdfopt/) which will make even the font size larger and text wrap according to the screen real estate.
Much better tool that Briss.
