Installing winXP SP2 without undergoing the microsoft VERIFYING test??

Is it posible?

I'm currently using WIN xp(home) & i want to install SP2,but i do not want to undego the microsoft verifying test.

Please give link for the setup

Please help.
 
if you have entered a "valid" key... it will work fine... i did that with win xp pro... it did not go through the verfication test... depends on the key you have entered during installation.. and nowadays you get win xp with sp2 incorporated in them... meaning that when you are installing win xp.. it will install sp2 also.. win xp media centre edition is an example of that.. all other versions are the same too
 
JUmbo, download SP2 patch from Microsoft site only, it you are not 100% sure about any other site who provides SP2, may be you end with Virus Infected Patch (SP2), and why you install SP2 when there is SP3 on corner, wait and install SP3 it's with all Patch and fixes.
