Arch Linux 3.1.10-9-ARCH (ttyS0)

alarm login:

It is booting fine, something wrong with your Rootfs

Connect the pendrive to another linux PC and do a filesystem check on the first partition and try to boot again.

Code:
e2fsck -f -y -v /dev/sdx1

Replace sdx1 to the actual device name on your system.

Could not install the Debian, could not TFTP as it did not have IPaddress, what I did:-

Copy the U-Boot binary u-boot.kwb to a USB stick formated with the FAT filesystem. Then plug the USB stick into your plug computer, connect the serial console and type the following commands:

usb start
fatload usb 0:1 0x800000 uboot.goflexNetHome-IDEfixed-L2Coff-EFIon.kwb
nand erase 0x0 0x80000
nand write.e 0x800000 0x0 0x80000
reset

After performing the above was successfully able to update uBoot!

Next step Recovery, but have to catch up on some sleep...

@varkey, After updating the uBoot, I again tried to boot the with the Debian provided here Zyxel NSA320 : basic support for Debian installation I was able to run Debian and then I tried to install the recovery as per this article Rescue V2.8 : many enhancements + full kernel support for GoFlexNet/Home, Zyxel NSA3x0 and many others

I tried to run flash_eraseall, but was unabe to run it, downloaded mtd-utils and then was successfull able to download the images uImage-mtd1.img & rootfs-mtd2.img and erase mtd1 & mtd2, but it won't let me nandwrite, gave me some error which I did not make a note of it but was related to ioctl(MEMGETBADBLOCK):

flash_eraseall /dev/mtd1
nandwrite /dev/mtd1 uImage-mtd1.img

flash_eraseall /dev/mtd2
ubiformat /dev/mtd2 -s 512 -f rootfs-mtd2.img -y

Thank you in advance

Did you set the arcNumber to 3089? If not it will show a lot of errors if you try to do anything with the NAND.

Code:
fw_setenv [I]arcNumber 3089
[/I]

No I did not, from the pri and other details I think it is set at 2097 the default one, how do I set the arch number, do I have to do it from Serial access,
