Android Galaxy S8 Screen continously ghost touching

It keeps opening apps and pressing on its own.

Started happening when i attached the charger, i shut it off to cool it down but it wast fixed.

I removed the screen protector , still no fix.

Is this hardware issue? its in warranty.
 
Yes, it's an hardware issue. Call Samsung for a direct pick up of your device from your home/office. Have the invoice and box with you when you give them a call.
 
Issue has fixed on its own, it most probably happened due to overheating while charging, It can happen again , now i am not sure what to do, if they check the phone they will not find anything wrong with it.
 
It was opening apps because the screen was being pressed on its own, when i had to type my pin to login it kept typing the number 2 on its own, now it has stopped. If the issue comes up again i will get it fixed.
 
The issue wasnt fixed, submitted to service center today, they are replacing the LCD. They are offering one year extended warranty for 3600/- is it worth it ?, i already have 7 months left.
