To benchmark RAM, get SiSoftSandra 2005 and Everes Home software and run the Memory Benchmark.

Push all your cables and stuff behind the mobo tray. That should lead to more airflow that'll help the cooling. You sure the both the front intake fans are connected and working? Cos in my case, its warmer with the sidepanel open than closed . Ofcourse by rear exhaust is a slightly better antec led.
