Anyone with Asus tablet in Noida/Gurgaon

My Asus transformer data cable went bust. I can't root my tablet without USB cable. Anyone here can lend me their cable for 5 minutes? I will come with my laptop and just connect tablet using your cable for a while.

Is this some proprietary USB cable? My roomie has a Transformer TF300 and he uses a cheap USB micro-B cable IIRC. If this is indeed the cable compatible with the tablet, it is easily available in most roadside phone shops.

Just a thought.

I got a charger with 15v USB output and a USB cable from dx.com. Apparently the USB data cable isn't working. It charges fine, but the tablet is not recognized.

It is not a micro-USB, that's for sure. It is more like a long flat cable, like Apple's.
