I dont think so, but have not opened the game for quite some time. I will reinstall and check.

Maps is scrubbed clean only for South India and East India IIRC. People from North and west are playing without any hitch. I've got fed up with it and uninstalled it as well as removing myself from various pokemon telegram groups
