Looks like all my prayers are now answered.

Possibly due to similar plans from Airtel and BSNL.

^ Congrats is all i can say.
Atleast some Indians are enjoying proper broadband now.

1) Prices arent inclusive of taxes, right? How much is the tax?
2) What are the plans of airtel and bsnl that you talk of?

Finally some company is providing the quality broadband in India.
Such plans are the reason behind India's 2 mbps average speed.

I have been using Beam/ACT since last 4 years now. I was on 25 Mbps - 75GB FUP - PostFUP 4Mbps - for INR 1600 from beginning. It has been tremendous experience so far. Very few downtimes. And very few connection issues as well.

Now I will definitely upgrade to 1999 plan.

so speeds
such FUPs
much wows

This time they should have gone for minimum 2mbps honoring NTP 2012.

Competition can do wonders. :p

This is fantastic news, hope they follow suit in Chennai and Bangalore. Also, hoping YOU broadband matches them.

You're getting a sweet deal. Don't bothering Posting Screenshots of your latest invoice (Just the amount part).

Youtube streaming is abysmal for non popular videos, Can anyone confirm?

I'm using the ACT fiber upgraded 40mbps plan,
No issues with YouTube video streaming at all.

It's been 6yrs with beam or ACT now, used to have at least 2days downtime per month initially, hardly anything to complain in last 3 years.

There was Youtube streaming issue, which seems fixed. For non-popular videos (which aren't usually cached) were buffering on 40Mbit/s plan. Cool now.
