    Which Refrigerator to Buy?

We bought this Samsung model offline, in Pune, for about Rs.57000. Same fridge on =color&sattr[]=bee_rating_year&st=bee_rating_year']Flipkart. The model was renamed (because fridges have to declare net volume now, and not gross) and re-rated in 2024 (star rating reduced by 1).

    Which Refrigerator to Buy?

I just bought a new fridge, so I'm going to share my findings, and hope that helps you. Our double door Whirlpool fridge began giving problems in January. It was close to 10 years old. I got it fixed (refilled gas), but wasn't happy with the way it was running after the repairs, so we bought a...

    Complete home automation

Our home has an ABB home automation system. We use it to control all our geysers, lights and fans(but not fan speed) through IR remotes in the bedrooms, and a central control panel in the living room. It can also be used to control your A/C's and other electrical outlets. We haven't opted for...

Graphic Cards Whats the fastest graphic card my motherboard will support?

I haven't upgraded yet. Like you, I need to upgrade my PSU first. I think I'll probably buy a 3060 12GB, or a 4060 16GB (if/when that releases. - as it's more power efficient.) There are YouTube videos of a guy with the same setup as us running a 4060, with it performing quite well.

Budget 0-20k Want to upgrade my power supply.

I am considering doing that, but I'm not sure if it's going to be worth it for me. What did you pick up? And do you have any recommendations for me?

Budget 0-20k Want to upgrade my power supply.

Thanks. I'll check out the price tracker. For me, the FX8350 works well. I run Linux, do a little bit of coding, some light gaming, web-browsing and lately I've started playing around with Unreal Engine. It's more than capable of doing everything I ask of it. Unreal Engine's a bit slow, but...

Graphic Cards Whats the fastest graphic card my motherboard will support?

Thanks a ton. That was really helpful. Also, I can't believe that the 4060 uses an 8x bus while the 3060 uses a 16x.

Budget 0-20k Want to upgrade my power supply.

I'm currently using a Corsair VX450W SMPS. It's been powering my system for probably more than 10 years now, and it's still going strong. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-vx-450w/ However, I want to upgrade to a beefier GPU, an RTX3060 or equivalent, and I think I'll need to upgrade...

Graphic Cards Whats the fastest graphic card my motherboard will support?

I've got an old AMD Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard running an AMD FX8350 processor, with an Nvidia GT 1030 GPU. I was planning on doing an incremental upgrade, getting myself an Nvidia 3060 GPU now, and doing a motherboard+RAM+CPU upgrade later this year. But I'm not sure if the newer GPU's...

Need advice on cables for home networking

I have to ask, what's your use case? Are you going to be constantly streaming/downloading or just browsing the net? How fast is your internet connection? How many devices are going to be using the ethernet connections? Are you sure you won't be better served by a mesh wi-fi system? Since you...

Need advice on cables for home networking

I got my entire house wired with D-Link cable, everything concealed, and it's much better than WI-Fi. I let my electrician buy the cable, just told him to make sure it was cat-6. That way if it was damaged, it was his headache, not mine. Also, the brand of cable you can get will depend on where...
