s4 showing connection unstable is very normal, it does for me too even sometimes being in same room where router is :S

mate, you have to understand this Wi-Fi technology, it doesn't work with high range routers. Even if router has 500mw of tx power and the client connecting does not then it wont work. Then you might need to put pci or some usb wireless with good antennas and range. Obviously mobiles and tablets...

lol i think you took "budget no bar" too seriously for him.. I think getting the main router better and other can be wired repeaters. (like i do). mate if antennae was the only thing that could increase the coverage then I would had self created some, but wifi doesnt work one-way...
