The BSNL modem i currently own is proving to be a big headache, so was thinking of buying a better one.

Please help me decide from these : (prices with ebay 10% coupon)

Buffalo G Nfiniti - 2.7K

Asus DSL-G31 - 2.7K

Netgear DG834G - 2.7K

Linksys WAG120N - 3.2 K

Netgear mate got a 15 day old one for 2K,after reading its pretty good.Linksys is equally good, but with netgear u can add custom ROM's

Well the Linksys is a 802.11N and the others are 802.11G (especially the Buffalo) and the price difference isn't very high so go for it (assuming the eBay seller is selling a sealed boxed product).

I'm glad you didnt include Belkin ones!! most of em are crap anyway!

btw a modem-router(single unit) is better or a dedicated modem and a dedicated router is better? :S

Single unit is definitely better - one configuration, one power cord, one less LAN cord, ability to use uPnP instead of port forwarding at two places, etc.

Any opinions on the Buffalo router ?

^ Aside from the fact that they are trying to pass it off as a 802.11n router, its pretty good performance wise according to the review and a nice budget buy. I don't know about the service / support / warranty here.
