I think I have a dead pixel problem...Where do I find the service tag number?
PPID label doesn't have it. BTW, I got it through Vijay...

Thanks,
Sajit

IIRC monitors don't come with a service tag, you will need the order number which is on the invoice

Thye come with a Serial Number, which is on the hidden panel, behind USB port.

will call them tomo and see how it goes...

btw their pixel policy tolerates a bright pixel or upto 6 dark pixels...in my case, its dark and its definitely more than one pixel. it looks like the backlight is dim there-quite visible on a white background :(

check the box in which the monitor was shipped to u -- should be there on one of the sides.

There will be no service tag ,but a big serial number .
If you got it under your name , then the bill will have customer ID .
Give the customer ID and they should have the details.

@Sunny:
The box has no service ID on it. Mine did not also. There is just his long numeric number, nothing like a DELL service ID. Order number will suffice for after sales service.

The serial number is on a plastic panel which you can slide out from behind (the backside of your panel) the USB slots on the side. That is enough for claiming warranty
