Well i wanted to be the first to post here.

Lian-Li launches a couple of new cases for their 2010 lineup.

The best thing is, they all feature the soon-to-be standard, USB 3.0 (backward compatible with 2.0 of course).

Will post pics and specs of cases as and when i get an OK from LL. Till then here are the new cases that are already announced.

the red one looks fluorescent and too bright. not much variation in the design though. just the usual rectangular blocks with meshes in front.

^That's why they are called simple and stylish, aint they :P

No none as of yet. Prices will be disclosed in CeBIT Hannover next month, with the rest of the 2010 range.

woot.. good going there sudhir!, awesome stuff.

still no black interiors....:(
and a bit variation in design would be appreciated!

And the red case looks awsome if not for the spider on the side panel. a simple panel like antec 900/1200 would be better on it...

Looks great, very tempting Sudhir, but I'm well settled now with my case :ohyeah:

No why did they take out that firewire port from the front? Maybe because USB 3.0 has better speeds. :P

Good to see LL making an advance ahead of others.

AFAIK, already very few people use FW, now with the prevalence of lots of ESATA drives and docks. Now with USB3.0, it is sure to get redundant.

The problem for them is not painting it, but if they paint it, the entire cabinet has to be painted, inside out. Other manufacturers already paint their cabinets on the outside, so its easy for them to make it uniform by painting it inside too. If Lian-Li does it, the actual reason why Lian-Li is loved worldwide, the pure aluminum hairline finish, will be lost. There are a couple of Pure black cabinets in their aluminum range, but people still prefer the pure Lian-Li's :P

Design variations might be there as there are a couple of other new cabinets which will be showcased in CeBIT. But then again, as i pointed out, Lian-Li cases are loved not for curvy aliend looks, but because of their pure and simple designs. There is little anyone can do there can they :P

As for the Spider Edition, if the side panel cutout is removed, it wont remain the Spider Edition will it ? :P

I am still pretty sure that most of the folks here who haven't seen a LL in person will still think its only hype, but trust me, and the worldwide lovers, see one in person if u can, and trust me, you will want ur next case to be only a Lian-Li :D

@OP:
Are any of those LL's full ATX..? How much would shipping to New Delhi be..?

PC-A77F is full tower. Shipping as of now would be somewhere around Rs 1000 for a full tower via DTDC Surface. For more details you can PM me.

We will be getting the PC-A77F in march, mostly even before Newegg :ohyeah: The other cases are still under testing and will only hit shelves in a couple of months.
