I went to Royal Enfield showroom to checkout Classic 350 / 500, he quoted me 1,41,xxx Rs, but somewhere on the forum i read the cost would be 1,24,xxx.
Anyone knows whats the cost & i heard Harley Davidson and some more company like yamaha ( Yamaha V-Max- Rocket science | BikeBhp ) launching any new motorcycle?

In India the price of VMAX is expected between 14Lacs to 15Lacs. WOW !!

i called up yamaha (malad) factory showroom, they have VMAX, i'm gonna check it out.

yamaha officially launched the v-max in india already.... prolly 2 months back

Went to Yamaha showroom & there was no VMAX there.
Yes, i don't know who i spoke to, but he said he works at yamaha, maybe X, but VMAX has been sent to Pune Auto Expo which is been held at 5th January (probably)
The cost is 23 Lakhs of VMAX 1679cc, while shown by some TV Motor Show on Youtube the cost was 17,990$
Is the tax SOO much on import?
Yes, i don't know who i spoke to, but he said he works at yamaha, maybe X, but VMAX has been sent to Pune Auto Expo which is been held at 5th January (probably)
The cost is 23 Lakhs of VMAX 1679cc, while shown by some TV Motor Show on Youtube the cost was 17,990$
Is the tax SOO much on import?

Brother, the site you referred (Bikebhp.com) has mentioned that the price of V-max is 20Lacs ex-showroom. It is evident that in India the import duty is more than 100%, therefore even the price quoted on youtube was correct but for US market in India you have to add another 100% as duty.

so the bikes actual cost is MAX 10lakhs, right, then what comes to steal the money is import / custom duty

what is the waiting period for a V-max???
for ninja 250 it takes around 3-4 months to get one...

Whoops! now there is waiting period involved, yamaha malad showroom said they have VMAX available, maybe need to confirm with them, call up justdial to get number of yamaha showroom malad.
