Hey guys. I have an old PC that is getting lesser and lesser use everyday. So I thought I could repurpose it by installing Mac OS X on it.
I know the performance wont be great but heck this is not my primary machine.
System Specifications
Processor: Intel Celeron D 2.26 GHz 256k L2 SSE3
RAM: 768 MB DDR1 333 MHz
Board: ECS P4M800-M
Graphics: nVidia GeForce FX 5200
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 80 GB + 40 GB PATA IDE
ODD: Moser Baer DVD-RW DL
Monitor: AOC F22 @ 1920x1080
Mac OS X Distribution
Alright, I don't know what we call it but I have iDeneb 1.5 10.5.7 which is about 4.3GB in size (iso).
What is the difference between all these versions? iDeneb, Kalyway, iPC ?? is it just that the packages and the bundled kernels might be different?
I also have Snow Leopard Retail DVD but I think I wont put that one in my PC for now.
I have a very poor connection, so I cannot download much. I sourced the ISO from a friend. It passes MD5 checksum and my friend has been running it.
I NEED TO HAVE THIS ISO RUN, NO OTHER OPTIONS. :|
-------------
First Step?
I have Windows XP running on the 80 GB HDD on a primary 12 GB partition. I intend to keep it there. I need to dual boot from the SAME hard disk. I know that's not ideal and cumbersome, but no options as such. :(

^ Thanks. I would still ask one thing though: I cannot afford to get another installation ISO. I have iDeneb 10.5.7 and I need to get it working.
