hi guys,
My mobo/procc
P4 HT 2.8HT Prescott(has heating problem)
1.5GB DDRI RAM
i have added a graphics card recently thinking i would directly go for i7 when prices come down. I got a Sapphire 3850 512MB DDR3 AGP card from US.
Now my proccy is the bottleneck. What i wanted to ask was if there was any motherboard which supports I5 or Phenom and also has a AGP support in addition to PCI-E. i remember one of ASUS motherboard for AMD athlon 3800(i think) had it.
I was planning to get mobo and procc with this card and then maybe upgrade to 5890 when prices lower. what say?

No. AGP is an aging bus and no new CPU mobo combo supports it.

No point in making any upgrades to the existing setup. Do a complete upgrade when time/money permits.
Also, there are many performance tiers between a P4 and the core i7's. You may find your requirement to fit many of them.
