I have 2 hard disks. One in which I have 2 versions of windows installed ( win7 RC1 and win7 RTM)
I installed kubuntu linux on the other hard disk, after formatting a drive that contained vista.

Now I'm not able to dualboot. I keep booting into linux only. What is the easiest method of getting a dual boot?

I tried to follow what is given here but when I type in this - sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst it says no such file.
Help needed asap
Thanks

I think you need to change boot sequence in BIOS

boot from windows cd and use fixmbr command to repair the master boot record but that may render linux installation unusable, if thats the case then install linux again and set the boot record properly when it asks for boot record

^^^No linux installation won't be unusable...he will have to install grub again by chrooting using a live disc of linux like ubuntu or knoppix...and he will get his linux back...
