Win 7 setup stucks at completing installation.PLZ help.

see my siggy for pc conf.

setup stucks at atround 65% after d restart......

what to do....
the dots keep moving
but the setup then do nothing...

hdd: 1 tb wd black edition.

what to do..

wait, sometimes it looks like it gets stuck, but u have to wait.even if it takes time.

The setup should complete within 20 mins, if u have a good config like the phenom x2 550. Took 30 mins in my 3800+ with 2gb ram...

If it still gets stuck, search around this problem seems to be addressed

m currently using windows xp sp3..

see siggy for conf.
hdd : wd 1 tb black edition,4 gb ddr2 800 RAM.q6600

m using 4 gb cosair usb for installation...stuck at 2/3 ...
installing into a new partition..X ,size:97.6 GB
starting install proces from win xp sp3 only.

INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY USING SAME procedure on a Acer laptop with 1 gb ram and 120 gb hdd,it took 22 min.....

when i install on my desktop
it stucks after normal restart and nothing happens....
i waited for 2 hrs.... still same screen .....

Installation on my pc takes 15 mins.wonder why it takes so long.

Why not try using a bootable dvd.

Its better to use a DVD... If u feel that its stuck, eject the DVD, and the setup will ask for it again, then insert disc again... The setup will hopefully work.. I did the same for a friend and it worked....

Use a Dvd to install and if you can try to do a clean format do it as this eliminates most of the setup errors. Install's in 14-20mins depending on Config..
