Anti Virus For Windows 7?

hi!
i am looking to get myself a good anti-virus for windows 7.........currently broke for the next 2 weeks.
i have nod32 v.2.7 from my windows xp(it works on windows vista) -- i like it and its pretty good for my needs.
can i use it with windows 7??

Nod 32 works on Windows 7 . I am using Nod 32 ver. 4.0.314 on Windows 7 Professional .(7600-RTM). No issues as such :).

Get The McAfee ,its really good and not a resource hoger.Btw You can get McAfee2010 free for one whole year check this thread McAfee 2010 3 User License free for 1 year

i meant to ask------is it possible for my 2 yr old nod 32 v.2.7 to work on windows 7 till i buy something better???

Download Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows7, It has been getting some really good reviews and it's totally free.
Yes, I'm using it for almost a week now. My trial version of Kaspersky is about to expire, and I'm wondering if I should buy the license or continue using MSE. I'll probably take a call after using MSE for a month.

i like eset too but its paid, saw somwhere 1600 bucks for 3 user.

I am also using MSE on win 7 & I never felt i need any other antivirus. Just turn on real time protection & keep it updated.

just bought kaspersky 2010(3 user pack) for 525rs.
will be using that now.

Are download legally free AVAST or AVIRA. AVIRA is one of the best freewares!
Edit: Just read u bought KIS. Great buy.

Why not go nod32 v4 ? I am using it no issues till now.good detection for spywares too.
