I like the RE 500 classic better then ever. This model looks very same as what I wanted with a modded old RE (looks wise)..if today I had to spend 1+ lac on bike nothing else would be an option.

FINALLY.... it's here. Time to start saving up cash for this (which also means that my Q6600 will have to stay with me for another year).

WOW ! launched before Harley Davidson launches their bikes! Interesting strategy! I am loving this bike but why not a two seater damn! (just my thoughts!)

Great!.Guess they will Change Electra 5S also for UCE Engine.Reliability and comfortable cruising at 115kmph speed is made possible by Bullet Classic 500 EFI.
Sadly ,LB500 is discontinued.....
Current CI Bullets needs 10W30 Clutch Case Oil,Gear box Oil(and Grease) and 20W50 Engine Oil! :) Remember Electra 5S and Std 350 are real Classic Bikes with The Cast Iron(CI) Engines. These Motorcycles have separate Clutch Box,Gear Box As well as Engine Oil Storage!!!

The single seat is an option. Or the extra split seat is an option. Either way, you can get it company fit with 2 seats.

Hmmm.... Now this throws up a huge problem.
Buy a proper modern sports bike which can thrash any bike from India and is a bike from one of the largest bike manufacturers around
OR
Buy a 60 year old bike with no modern technology at all, some flashy bits on it and which will be as unreliable as the governments of India.

I'd still get the latter just for its character :bleh::bleh::bleh:
125k is pretty well priced. I was expecting this to cost atleast 150 ex-showroom. Might get one later this year.

I take it that you've never rode a bullet before. Of all the bullet owners I know, many have their bullets as old as 20-25 years and still running dandy.
And like Chaos said... no sport bike can match the character and personality of cruisers. Sport bikes... they all look like flashy toys.
It's not about Speed and going fast, it's about cruising and enjoying your ride.
