Just get a dual RCA female to 3.5mm female adapter/cable. Set the PS3 to output audio via the the A/V cable and then bridge the male left right RCA jacks of the A/V cable to the male 3.5mm pin of the MX5021 using the adapter/cable you got.

^The MX comes with a female-3.5mm jack to dual RCA female cable. You'd need a 3.5mm male-to3.5mm male cable so that you can plug this cable to the Aux input on the pod which'd override the input thru the sub.

just go to any hardware store & ask for a av to stereo convertor. once you see that its very straight forward how to connect.

But need advise same as OP has asked.
cant figure it out how to connect MX5021 to PS3.
I've a 3.55 jack coming out of MX5021, and have optical and AV cable from PS3. What all i'd be needing? can someone post the pic of the cable required here?
