thanks to TE and its members, after readin multiple threads and posting a couple of threads myself, i finally booked my rig today at prime.

x2 550+ta 790gx = 9950
dell e1909w = 6500
corsair 2 gb ddr2 = 1500
sapphire 4850 1 gb = 8200
seasonic 380w = 3100
bijli = 1250
500 gb WD = 2650
dvd writer lg 22x = 1100
microsoft kb/mouse = 650
belkin surge protector 4 way = 450
belkin wireless desktop card = 850

total = 36,500
im pretty happy with the machine i got.i think its excellent VFM.comments are welcome in terms of sugg/tips for way forward etc (do i need an extra fan?)
once again wud lik to thank the members here. ur posts were excellent guidance.

u shud have bot 2x2gb ram kit...nvm..u can always update later..

overall its good...try unlocking the cores...
and plz tell which mobo is it??

am on a tight budget..hence 2 gb..will upgrade later if need be
and the mobo is gx 128m
unfortunately the 0922apmw batch isnt available..im nt sure if unlocking is possible in the other batches.

ya it is not 100% sure that u can unlock but still do give it a try....if it unlocks....

i think the kb/mouse combo of logitech wud be much better than microsoft
its only 100 bucks more ~725-750 i guess

Good config bro.. but i would say kidnly add 2 gb of more ram.. and now days we need 4 gb any how ...One thing i didnt like it was spending 8200 for 4850. u could have opt for any 512 mb card which many people selling on TE around 5 -6 k.. and with diff money u could have boought better power supply like VX450 OR VX 550. and could have got Elite 335 for 1900 .. that would have been a good deal . And also for better discount u could have contacted ITWAREES where he would have listed it on Ebay and u could have easily saved around like 2 -3 k .. which u could have used for 1 TB :D.. but still the system looks good.. nice config..
