also i think i7 is not as expensive as others was making it out to be

if the prices for i9's are like 300-400 ill be selling my i7 and buying that

Core i7 860 looks like the best price : feature ratio. But seriously lynnfield looks l;ike a fail to me except the fact that Its motherboards would be around 6k.

these processor have different turbo modes depending on numberr of cores enabled .

when 2 cores disabled , processor can run 266mhz higher than stock , good for games and applications which use only 2 cores :)
