Hi all!
As this is my first post here, let me congratulate You on this great forum! :) You really rock! :)
I need to buy a home UPS as my little village power line is every day worse and worse, with continuous blackouts :( especially after 2 drops of rain!
I have already lost a PC because of that :( And I have learnt that buying a good PSU can help it very much, so my actual PC is powered by an Enermax Liberty 400W.
Anyway now that such blackouts are more frequent I do not feel safe anymore, and I decided to buy a UPC.
I am only a student so I can't afford spending much more than 150€ ( I live in Italy - Power Line 230V, 50Hz)..
After reading this:

I feel really hopeless, having my PSU Active-PFC.. and being Pure Sine wave UPS so expensive :(

I found the following (not Pure sine wave) for prices that I can afford:
MICRODOWELL B-BOX XP150 1500VA (175€) - Can I trust this brand?
APC BACK UPS RS 800 Va 540 WATT (160€)

And this is my rig:

PSU: Enermax Liberty 400
CPU: Pentium D 3.20GHz (cooled by freezer 7 pro)
Motherboard: P5WD2
Video card: NVIDIA GForce GTS 250
HDisk: 2 HDisk Maxtor 250GB SATA2
Monitor: Sony Multiscan 200ES (CRT)
DVD: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-116D
ADSL: via ethernet
Cooling: 3x 12'' Enermax magnetic spin

Moreover I would be very glad of being able to reuse the UPS for a new rig as soon as I can afford it..

Thank You very much in advance for any suggestion!

Thank You for Your reply!
But that APC is not Pure Sine wave .. won't it cause any problem with my PSU (expecially on blackout events)?
And 540W are not few for a new computer?

I merely suggested the BRAND to choose.

A UPS with pure sine wave is gonna expensive.
