Hi Guyz;
I have a MSI K9A2 platinum V2 with BIOS 1.7.
my problem is recently my system is started booting very slow.
I tried with Windows 2003, Vista, Win 2008 fresh installation . then also it's taking up to 2,3 mins to boot in 2003.
and 4,5,6 minutes to boot in VISTA and Win 2008 fresh installation.
when i googled some people are mentioning it's the problem with my msi motherboard, any one experienced this ?.
my config is as follows.
Phenom-II 920 - 2.80Ghz
MSI K9A2 platinum V2 with BIOS 1.7
4 x 2GB DDR2 - Gskill
3 x 500GB , 1 x 1TB HDD
Samsing DVD Writer,
Zotac GEFORCE 9600GT AMP Edition
Asus Ageia Physx 100 -
Creative X-Fi Extreme Gamer Fatality pro
ABIT AIRSPACE WiFi
CORSAIR HX-620 PSU
so could any one assist me and help me in identifying the problem..

I have tthat mobo and I had the same problem; the system would take over 2 minutes to boot up, and even installing windows 7 (which should take little) took over an hour. I solved the problem by enabling PCI IDE BusMaster in the bios setup. I also enabled prefetch buffer but I'm not sure that helped at all.
