Plasma and LCD are two technologies by which Display is made
In LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), a liquid is fused between two layers of glass and connected to electrodes (i think).
Plasma i dont know properly
You will see that LCD till 32 inches cost less while above that are pricy because of manufacturing costs
Plasma you get only above certain inches..40" i think.
HDTV is a TV that i capable of providing a viewing resolution of maximum 1080p(ixels) i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The ones that are HD Ready are 720p
A plasma and LCD tv can be a HDTV....it is not different from them.
