I urgently need an OPDA Certificate (17 capability Developer Certificate) for my phone.
Does anyone know of a way I can get it immediately? The regular procedures take ~24hours :(


The certificate I currently have is from Symbiansigned.com but I think it doesn't have DiskAdmin capability cuz whenever I installing the 'special' application I'm getting permission grant error.

please advice.

Go to symbian-freak, there is a guy called tekken, ask him to make one for you..maybe he'l get it fast..

nice, now one wont need to go thru registration on those chinese sites.
but still it takes upto ~24hours. It would be nice to have em instantly.

and apply for the imie number u want the cert for...

I have submitted my IMEI today;now waiting for tomorrow to get the 17 certificate tomorrow. I want to sign HelloOX.1.03.Unsigned.sis. How to do that ? Do I need to install HElloOx first ? Please explain the whole process. I am very much new to symbian world.

@Satyanjoy - get signsis_GUI or any similar signing app. Use it with the OPDA cert you get here to sign the HelloOX app. Install and run HelloOX. That's it, your phone can now install unsigned apps. Works fine on my E71, latest FW>

got this "So far this month on the 2nd symbiansigned suspended developer certificate (TC Publisher ID) applications, specifically the restoration of the date of your notice at any time concerned about the platform!" message :(

Which site? Did you try registering on the forum?
Once you get the OPDA cert, send it to me, I'll sign it and send back the HelloOX file to you.

Any update on this ....

I got the cert and key for my IMEI from the OPDA site. I have downloaded the signsis symbian app.. Now what?

Do I need to install the signsis on the phone? Is there any way to sign applications on the PC itself...

I got the devcart today..tried to sign the HelloOX1.03 using signSIS GUI and got this

I use GenialSIS. try that.
btw you got 2 files right, a .cer and .key?
